The Yoga of Food, April 13th 1-3PM

The food system is a complicated web of which we are all a part. How can we make food
choices that nourish us and the environment? How can we integrate these food questions with
our discovery of self through yoga? Come to learn how we can connect our eating practices
with our yoga practice. The first hour will be a discussion of yoga as it relates to food, and
the second hour will involve a few healthy food preparation demonstrations and samples of
delicious and nutritious food. Having practiced yoga, farmed, cooked, and eaten from Italy and
Connecticut to California and Michigan, Rebecca cares deeply about taking care of our bodies
and our planet and will lead you through an exploration down this integrated path of yoga and
food.
